Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 July 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Siraaj learning management system, including our website and mobile applications (the “Service”), provided by Siraaj Institute (“Siraaj,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and accounts
The Service is provided to students, guardians, teachers, and staff affiliated with Siraaj Institute. Accounts are issued and administered by the Institute. If you are a minor, your account is authorized by the Institute and/or your parent or guardian. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms or Institute policies.
- Access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the Service or other users’ accounts or data.
- Upload or share content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, infringing, or harmful, or that you do not have the right to share.
- Disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service except as permitted by law.
3. User content
You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as assignment submissions and messages). You grant Siraaj a limited license to host, store, display, and process that content solely to operate and provide the Service. You are responsible for the content you submit and confirm you have the rights to share it.
4. Tuition, fees, and payments
Where the Service is used to pay tuition or fees, payments are processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). You agree to provide accurate billing information and to pay all applicable amounts. Refunds, where offered, are governed by the Institute’s policies. No purchases are made through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing; tuition and fees are education services delivered outside the app.
5. Notifications
With your permission, the Service may send push notifications about your account and coursework. You can manage or disable notifications in the app and in your device settings.
6. AI study companion
The Service may include an AI study companion. It is provided to assist learning and may produce inaccurate or incomplete information; it is not a substitute for instruction, professional advice, or your own academic judgment. Do not rely on it for high-stakes decisions, and do not submit information you do not wish to be processed to generate a response.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and the Siraaj name and logo, is owned by Siraaj Institute or its licensors and is protected by law. Except for the rights expressly granted to you, no rights are transferred. Course materials remain the property of their respective owners.
8. Termination
The Institute may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time (see Deleting your account).
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Siraaj Institute will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised date and, where appropriate, communicated in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [insert governing jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
